My child is not completing assignment during the online instructional session as expected. We are completing assignment after session which is double time for a child with limited focus. What do you recommend?

SMC team response:

1. Is attendance required (graded) in these instructional sessions?

2. Learning and assignments must be prioritized for children with attention challenges.

3. Prioritize and limit online sessions. Discuss with teacher if child can work on assignment independently with detailed instructions and resources without attending online sessions.
