Ana Anselma

Ana Anselma is the author of the Different Skill Notebook blog and podcast. The Different Skill Notebook is a smart parenting tool that equips families with thinking, social, emotional, and behavioral skills for a balanced life. Ana coaches and trains parents to be their child's most influential advocate. Ana also assists parents with creating an intervention plan that compliments their child’s unique profile.

As a parent of two neurodivergent young adults, I share our journey as a family coping with the difficulties that present in navigating a world that was designed by neurotypicals for neurotypicals. I have had the privilege of working with thousands of families and neurodivergent individuals on their equipping journey.

Ana has a BA in Political Science from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from St. Thomas University, Miami, Florida.

The earlier part of her career was spent as a legal assistant specializing in litigation and trial support. Then, she was a corporate legal assistant at Bacardi USA, Inc., focusing on corporate compliance, creating and managing a company-wide document management program, litigation support, and training.

After working at Bacardi USA, Inc., she had the privilege of working for Greenberg Traurig as the IT director, assisting with project management. This allowed her to utilize her previous legal assistant background to help streamline projects between attorneys and technical teams.
